Smokeye Hill Barrel Proof 5 Year Old Straight Rye Whiskey (75cl, 65.9%)

Smokeye Hill Barrel Proof 5 Year Old is a straight rye whiskey and the brand's first rye, released in October 2025. It is bottled uncut and non-chill filtered at barrel proof, around 131 to 132 proof depending on the batch, in a 750ml bottle. The mash combines rye, heirloom blue corn, yellow corn and malted barley. It was aged for five years in 30-gallon new American white oak barrels with No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 chars, and matured at about 6,100 feet in Colorado Springs. The whiskey was distilled in Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Butterscotch, honey and dried figs lead the nose. The palate is full-bodied, with caramel, cinnamon, dried apricot and toasted oak, and the finish is long and oily, with honeyed oak and black tea.
