Smoky Scot is a peated single malt Scotch whisky, made from peated malted barley and matured in oak casks. It is aimed at the smoky character associated with island-style whiskies.
On the nose it brings peat and smoke alongside malted cereal, vanilla, light honey and a faint saline, coastal edge. The palate is clearly smoky without being harsh, with malt, honey and wood. The finish is persistent, led by peat and smoke with a little sweetness.
