Smooth Ambler – Contradiction Bourbon

Smooth Ambler Contradiction is a bourbon that blends whiskey the distillery makes with whiskey it does not. It combines sourced bourbon with the sweet wheated bourbon distilled in West Virginia, an idea that came after the distillery began bottling its Old Scout whiskey. It is non-chill filtered. It is full-bodied, with dried fruit and butter rum, and is said to taste like a four-grain bourbon. The nose has oak, dried cherries, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is sweet from the wheat, with rye spice and a little leather, and the finish is smooth.
