Smooth Ambler Old Scout 4 Year Old Single Barrel Cask Strength Rye (75cl)

This is a 4-year-old straight rye from Smooth Ambler, drawn from a single barrel and bottled at cask strength in a 75cl bottle. It belongs to the Old Scout range and was bottled by Smooth Ambler Spirits in Maxwelton, West Virginia. The rye was sourced from LDI in Indiana and is made from a mash bill of 95% rye. Bottling it undiluted keeps the grain character of the young spirit to the fore, with the spice and dried herbs that the mash bill brings.
