South Star 10 Year Old is a Highland single malt from an undisclosed distillery, released by the independent bottler South Star Spirits at 48% in a 70cl bottle.
It is a vatting of ten hogsheads distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2021, with an outturn of 2,148 bottles.
The nose is dried orange with sweet pipe tobacco. The palate is creamy, with dark chocolate and nuts, leading to a long, creamy finish with nutty notes.
