Southern Comfort is an American whiskey liqueur, naturally flavoured with fruit and with fruit and spice accents. This bottle was filled in 1977 at 50% ABV, in a 75cl size. The brand was created in New Orleans in 1874 by Irish American bartender Martin Wilkes Heron, using whiskey as the base spirit. Under Brown-Forman ownership a neutral spirit replaced the whiskey, and Sazerac restored it around 2017.
