Southern Star Cask Strength Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a straight bourbon distilled in Statesville, North Carolina. It is bottled at cask strength, with no added water and no chill filtration.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and oak with a deep, warm sweetness. On the palate it is full-bodied, with butterscotch, toffee and brown sugar alongside baking spice, cinnamon and black pepper.
The finish is long and warming, with lingering sweetness and spice and hints of dark fruit, toasted oak and leather.
