Speyburn 10 Year Old is a single malt from Rothes in Speyside, in a 1 litre bottle. It has matured for a minimum of ten years in American oak casks that previously held bourbon and sherry, and it has a bright golden colour.
The nose is delicate, with malt and fresh fruit, a hint of peat and some vanilla. On the palate come green apple, cinnamon and caramel, leading to a long, warming finish with spice and a little smoke.
