Speyburn 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Speyburn distillery in Rothes, bottled at 46% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The whisky matured in hand-selected American oak ex-bourbon casks and Spanish oak ex-sherry casks. It joined the core range in 2017, and the distillery draws its water from the Granty Burn.
Dark chocolate, spiced raisins, citrus and vanilla show on the nose. Oranges, toffee, vanilla and leather sit in gentle spice on the palate, and the finish is long, warm, sweet and creamy.
