Speyburn 'Bradan Orach' is a Speyside single malt without an age statement, bottled at 40%. It was matured entirely in American oak ex-bourbon casks and comes from Speyburn Distillery in Rothes, established in 1897.
Bradan Orach is Gaelic for golden salmon, a reference to the salmon fishing on the River Spey.
The nose combines green apples, honey, lemon and vanilla with malt, blossom and cream. The palate is creamy and smooth, with honey and vanilla. The finish is long and spicy, with oak.
