Speyburn Bradan Orach is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky in a 1.75 litre bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The name is Gaelic for Golden Salmon, chosen in honour of the salmon fishing on the River Spey, after which the distillery is named.
It is matured exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is fruity and malty, with orchard fruits, blossom, hints of light citrus and a creamy note. The palate is balanced, with creamy vanilla, a little spice and oak. The finish is quite long, with oak and spice.
