A ten year old Speyside single malt bottled by the independent bottler James Eadie at 48.3%. After ten years of ageing it was given a finishing period in European oak Oloroso sherry hogsheads.
The nose is rich and fruity, with stewed plums, rhubarb, dark chocolate, raisins, cardamom and cinnamon, plus a touch of old leather. The palate is soft and velvety, with juicy plums, nectarines and melted almond butter, then cinnamon, clove and brandy snaps. The finish brings dark chocolate pudding, a touch of chilli, cardamom and aniseed.
