Speyside #4 is a 26 year old single malt from That Boutique-y Whisky Company, bottled at 48.6% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from an undisclosed Speyside distillery and is non-chill-filtered. The whisky was matured for more than a quarter of a century in selected casks. The nose combines dried apricot, honeycomb, old oak, vanilla, polished leather and gentle spice. On the palate come orchard fruit, toffee, candied citrus, warm malt and oak spice, with a hint of sherry warmth. The finish is long, with honeyed malt, dried fruit, soft oak and a touch of spice.
