This is a 21 year old Speyside single malt from an undisclosed distillery, distilled in 2005 and bottled by Signatory Vintage under its Symington's Choice label. It comes from a single first-fill Oloroso sherry butt.
It was bottled at cask strength, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, and the sherry character runs deep.
The palate offers dried fig, raisin, dark chocolate and toasted oak spice, leading to a long, rich and warming finish.
