Springbank – 10 Year Old Local Barley 2007 (70cl, 57.3%)

A 10 year old Campbeltown single malt from Springbank, part of the Local Barley series. It was distilled in June 2007 and bottled in November 2017, made from barley grown entirely in the Campbeltown area. The strength is 57.3% abv, in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and not chill-filtered. The nose is vanilla, lemon zest, honey, roasted notes, spice, subtle smoke and orange peel. The palate offers sweet forest honey, vanilla, pineapple, peeled orange, apricot, mild smoke, coffee and spice. The finish is caramel and raisins, with slight bitterness and a little sea salt.
