This is a 10-year-old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, bottled at 51.6% ABV. The barley is a variety called Belgravia, grown at Glencraigs Farm less than four kilometres from the distillery. The spirit was lightly peated and matured for ten years in ex-Bourbon casks.
The nose opens with delicate floral notes and the smell of a malt barn, alongside savoury biscuits, cereals, vanilla and custard, with some fruit appearing as it opens up. Honey carries through on the palate, and the finish is light and sweet, with salted caramel.
