A 10-year-old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, bottled at 55.2% ABV and made entirely from locally grown barley. Part of the malting is done on site, and the spirit matures in oak casks.
The nose combines fresh cereals, dry herbs, honey and ripe fruit, with subtle saline and smoky touches. The palate is rich and silky, soft and round yet lively, with a discreet minerality. The finish is long, with malt and toasted wood, fine spices and caramel.
