A ten-year-old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, a distillery that does everything by hand and in house, from malting to bottling. It is bottled at 46% without colouring or chill filtration.
The colour is light amber. The nose has many layers: heather honey, ripe pears, a farmyard note of warm hay, pepper and oyster shells. The palate shows peaches in syrup, salty umami notes, light peat smoke and soot.
