This is a 10 year old single malt from Springbank, a distillery that carries out every stage from malting to bottling on site.
It spent six years in refill bourbon barrels, followed by four years in fresh palo cortado hogsheads made from American oak.
It is free of artificial colouring and not chill filtered, so a slight natural haze may form when it is cold and clear again as it returns to normal temperature.
