This is an 11 year old Springbank from Campbeltown, distilled in 2006 and bottled in February 2017 after maturing in bourbon barrels. It belongs to the Local Barley release, made with Bere barley grown at Aros Farm in the Campbeltown region. The run came to 9,000 bottles. The bourbon barrel maturation is associated with fresh, malty flavours.
