Springbank 15 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt matured entirely in sherry casks and bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Springbank is lightly peated and distilled two and a half times, and is often called the maritime malt for its salty character. It was first bottled in 1828.
The nose combines demerara sugar, dark chocolate, Christmas cake, almonds, toffee and oak. The palate is creamy, with raisins, dark chocolate, figs, marzipan, Brazil nuts and vanilla. In the finish, oak and sherry linger together with hints of leather.
