This is a 16 year old single malt from Springbank, a Campbeltown distillery, bottled by the distillery at 54.2% in a 70cl bottle.
The first eight years of maturation were spent in a refill bourbon hogshead. The whisky then moved into fresh rum barrels for the second half of its maturation, which is what defines this Rum Wood expression.
