Springbank 1973 Cadenhead's 18 Year Old Rum Butt is a single malt Scotch whisky from Campbeltown. Distilled in June 1973, it matured in rum casks before Wm Cadenhead bottled it in September 1991 at 57.5% ABV.
Rum butt maturation defines this edition. The palate combines fruit and spice in a layered, balanced character, followed by a finish with restrained sweetness and lingering spice.
