Springbank 1980 is a Campbeltown single malt bottled by Wm Cadenhead as a limited edition in its Single Cask series. Distilled in 1980 and released in the 1990s, it comes from cask 183 at a cask strength of 58% ABV.
Pear, candied orange and sultanas lead the aroma, alongside clove, rosemary and oak. Stone fruit and honey follow on the palate, with vanilla and white pepper before a long, warming finish of dark chocolate and roasted almonds.
