This is a single malt from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2025 after about 27 years in oak casks. It comes from the Springbank Vintage Series, launched in 2025, and 1,500 bottles were produced, each a 70cl bottle at 48.3% ABV.
On the nose it shows antique wood, toffee, dried fruit and coastal brine. The palate has oak spice, orchard fruits, hints of leather and sherry-soaked raisins. The finish is long and warming, with a maritime character and seasoned oak.
