Springbank 2006 Local Barley 11 Year Old is a Campbeltown single malt made with Bere barley from Aros Farm. Matured entirely in bourbon casks for 11 years, it was bottled in 2017 at 53.1% ABV, with 9,000 bottles produced.
Pear, apricot and dried fig aromas meet vanilla, cardamom and gentle oak. The creamy palate combines caramelised apple, toasted almond, citrus zest and ginger, followed by a long, warming finish of spiced honey and light smoke.
