This is a Springbank single malt from Campbeltown, distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2017 at ten years old. It belongs to the Local Barley release, made with barley grown in the area, and comes in a 70cl bottle at 57.3% ABV.
The notes run to malted barley, honey, citrus and orchard fruits, with a little peat smoke, earthy depth and a touch of coastal salinity. The texture is creamy and the finish long and complex.
