Springbank 10 Year Old is part of the Sherry Wood Series, a Campbeltown single malt distilled in July 2012 and bottled in 2022. It spent seven years in refill bourbon casks and three in Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. The whisky is medium peated, distilled two and a half times, and bottled at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The outturn was 10,800 bottles.
The nose shows ripe figs, sultanas and candied orange peel. The palate has dark chocolate, mocha and dried apricots, and the finish brings spiced honey with subtle smokiness.
