This is a 21 year old single malt from Springbank, the Campbeltown distillery in Scotland. It was bottled in 2022 at 46% ABV, in a run of 3,600 bottles, and is sold in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of sherry and port casks, split 55% sherry and 45% port.
The nose is sweet and smoky, with honey and dried fruits. On the palate there is chocolate with light fruits, spicy oak and port-cask character, leading to a long, sweet finish with a subtle woody spice.
