This is a 30-year-old Springbank single malt from Campbeltown, in a 70cl bottle. Only 1,400 bottles were filled. It matured for at least 30 years in a selected mix of casks, 80% American ex-bourbon and 20% European ex-sherry.
The nose is sweet and lightly smoky, with pear, plum and honey. The palate is elegant and balanced, with red berries, tobacco, blood oranges and milk chocolate. The finish is long, with a little peat followed by vanilla.
