This Springbank was distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2026 at 31 years old, a Campbeltown single malt with more than three decades in cask. It was matured in a mix of 80% bourbon, 10% sherry and 10% red wine casks, and 1,180 bottles were produced. It is bottled at 45.3%, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose opens with dried pineapple, mango, ripe melon and honey, alongside sandalwood and an earthy note. The palate brings caramelised lemon meringue, custard cream, toffee popcorn and more tropical fruit. The finish is long and earthy, with coconut, fresh basil and gorse.
