A five-year-old single malt from Springbank, distilled and matured in Campbeltown, Scotland, and bottled at cask strength, 57% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill filtered and of natural colour, and is produced by J. & A. Mitchell & Co. Ltd.
The nose is salty sea spray, earthy malt and mineral-rich barley. Spicy oak, smoked grain, honeyed citrus and wet stone come through on the palate, and the finish is long and warming, with coastal brine and a touch of pepper.
