This is a lightly peated 5 year old single malt from Springbank in Campbeltown, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured only in ex-bourbon casks.
It is bottled at 100 proof, about 57% ABV, without chill-filtration and with no colouring added.
The nose is fresh malt, citrus and vanilla with a light touch of peat and a hint of the sea. The palate is rich and structured, with caramel, spice, dried fruit and a pleasant saltiness. The finish is long and warm, ending on a slightly smoky note.
