This is a limited official bottling of Springbank, aged nine years and bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky spent seven years in refill bourbon casks before being finished in first fill Marsala casks.
The nose is rich, with cut hay and earth, a touch of gentle peat smoke, black cherry, dried strawberries, apricot conserve and a hint of nuttiness. The palate is full and rich, with limes and pear drops, and a touch of oak develops on the finish.
