This Springbank single malt marks the Grand Re-Opening of The Royal Hotel in Campbeltown. It was distilled at Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown and bottled in 2012 at 46% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited edition.
The nose offers ripe pear, apricot, zesty orange and toasted oak. On the palate come caramel, dried fig and dark chocolate with a subtle hint of sea salt. The finish is toasted hazelnut with a touch of coastal brine.
