Springbank Green 12 Year Old is a single malt from the Campbeltown distillery, made with 100% organic barley and matured only in American bourbon casks. It was distilled in 2002 and bottled in 2014 at 46% ABV, in a limited edition of 9,000 bottles.
The nose offers ripe apricot, lime zest and peach with a little vanilla, fresh thyme and toasted oak. The palate brings shortbread, key lime pie, white pepper and a trace of briny peat smoke over an oily texture. The long finish is salted fudge and coconut sweetness.
