Hazelburn 7 Years Oloroso Cask Matured is a Campbeltown single malt from Springbank Distillery. Hazelburn is the distillery's unpeated style and is triple distilled.
The whisky is matured for seven years in ex-Oloroso sherry casks, set against a malty, slightly maritime spirit.
On the nose it offers raisins, dried figs and dates with caramel, hazelnut, cocoa and sweet spice. The palate is soft, with dried fruit, dark chocolate and caramel, and the finish is long, with cocoa, nuts, spice and a light marine note.
