A 10 year old Springbank from the annual Local Barley series, made with Bere barley grown on Clochkiel Farm. It was distilled in July 2015, bottled in October 2025 at 55.2% ABV and released in November 2025, in an outturn of 8,000 bottles.
The whisky matured in a mix of 60% bourbon casks and 40% sherry casks.
The nose offers fig rolls, date syrup, plums and star anise. On the palate a savoury side comes through, with raw carrot, shiitake mushroom, tamari soy sauce and liquorice. The finish brings bonfire ash, caramel and molasses.
