A Campbeltown single malt from Springbank, distilled in 2006 from local bere barley grown at Aros Farm. It matured for 11 years entirely in bourbon casks and was bottled in 2017 at a cask strength of 53.1%.
Only 9000 bottles were filled.
The nose brings marmalade, honey, mineral notes, banana and salted caramel. The palate is creamy, with sweet grapes, honeycomb, marshmallow, salt, liquorice and a little peat. The finish is nutty and buttery, with almonds, hazelnuts and walnuts.
