This is a 13 year old Springbank made with Belgravia barley grown at Glencraig's Farm, close to the distillery. It was matured in a mix of 60% bourbon casks and 40% sherry casks and bottled at 54.1% ABV. The outturn is 8,400 bottles, and it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is fruity, with ripe bananas, cooked sweets and cinnamon. The palate is thick, chewy and oily, with pepper and malt, then strawberry and Parma violets. The finish brings a subtle background of peat smoke, wine gums, toasted oats and a light, drying note.
