Springbank Local Barley is an 8 year old single malt from Campbeltown, released in 2025 as a limited edition. It was matured in a 50/50 split of bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at 58.1% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose brings ground pepper and cigar box. On the palate there are hints of shortbread and salted caramel with a tart, spicy note, and the finish is very long, with plenty of sweetness and toffee.
