Springbank Local Barley is an annual release made from barley grown in and around Campbeltown by a local farmer, working from grain to glass. This 2024 release is a single malt made from Belgravia barley, distilled in 2016 and matured for eight years in a combination of 50% sherry casks and 50% bourbon casks.
It was bottled on 10 December 2024 at a cask strength of 58.1% ABV, in an outturn of 13,500 bottles worldwide. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour, and the series is typically lightly smoky.
