A sparkling wine from Fontanafredda, made in the Piedmont hills from Chardonnay and Pinot Nero. The traditional method involves long bottle refermentation followed by extended ageing on the lees, which enhances aromatic complexity and structure. It shows a fine, persistent mousse and a bright straw-yellow colour. The nose gives white-fleshed fruit, fresh citrus and a delicate bread-crust note from bottle ageing. The palate balances freshness, salinity and vibrant acidity, with an elegant, persistent finish. It suits fish starters, delicate risottos and gourmet dishes.
