Spumante Dolce Contessa Arione

A sparkling wine from Arione with a sweet but not cloying profile. It shows aromas of white flowers, ripe peach and a subtle honey note, with light, lively bubbles. The colour is a bright straw yellow, and the palate is round and enveloping, with sweetness balanced by fresh acidity; the texture is soft and smooth, leaving a pleasant savouriness. It suits the end of a meal with dry pastries, fruit tarts or creamy desserts, and also works as an aperitif served cold. Try it with blue cheeses for a sweet-savoury contrast. Serve cold, around 6-8 °C, in wide glasses.
