St. Bridget's Kirk Batch No. 5 Blended Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 48.5%)

St. Bridget's Kirk Batch No. 5 is a small batch blended malt from Hannah Whisky Merchants, bottled at 48.5% without chill filtration in a 70cl bottle. Only 120 bottles were filled. It comes from a three-cask solera the company built itself. Spirit goes into an ex-fino cask at the top and passes down through two ex-oloroso casks, and each batch is bottled from the cask at the lower right. The name comes from the old parish church near the company's base in Dalgety Bay, a nod to founder Gregor Hannah's roots. It is described as having mocha, figs, coastal spray, dried orange peel, golden syrup and candied ginger.
