St. Bridget's Kirk Solera is a blended malt bottled on 18 August 2023 at 48.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is batch 1.
It comes from the bottler's own three-cask solera, built by warehouse team members Alex McAndrew and Gavin Routledge. When the lowest cask is bottled, new malt whisky is filled into the top ex-fino sherry cask and runs down into two Oloroso sherry casks.
Because the casks are linked by copper pipes, the maturation does not officially count, so the whisky carries no age statement. It combines single malts from several distilleries.
