St James's 10 Year Old Blended Malt (70cl, 44.2%)

St James's 10 Year Old Blended Malt is a Speyside whisky bottled at 44.2% in a 70cl bottle. It is labelled as ten years old because the law requires the youngest whisky in a blend to set the age. In fact, more than 99% of it is Speyside single malt over 20 years old. The remainder, under 1%, is 10-year-old blended whisky: about ten litres left in the pipes while several casks of that older single malt were being bottled.
