Staoisha is the trade name for peated Bunnahabhain, and this 11 year old is a 2025 Islay Festival release from the independent bottler Brave New Spirits. It is bottled at 48.2% in a 70cl bottle and belongs to the Whisky Heroes series.
It matured for eleven years in a single first-fill ex-bourbon barrel, which lets the Islay peat character come through clearly. The release is limited to 289 bottles.
