Starward Dolce is a single malt Australian whisky in a 50cl bottle at 48% ABV. It is aged in two stages, first in Australian red wine casks and then in dessert wine casks inspired by the Sicilian style.
The dessert wine casks bring sweet and dried fruit notes to the whisky.
The nose offers dried fruits, toasted marshmallows and marzipan. The palate opens sweet, followed by rich dried fruit and brown sugar, and the finish is clean with a touch of sweetness.
