Starward Ginger Beer Cask #7 is a limited release from the Starward Distillery in Melbourne, bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is made from 100% malted barley and matured for two years before a finish in ginger beer barrels.
The whisky pours a deep amber. Fresh ginger, candied orange, toasted oak, clove and dark chocolate are described, with touches of vanilla and warm malt, and the finish carries spice and a subtle sweetness.
